Простой и эффективный инсталлятор. Основной компонент - удобная утилита Layout, призванная помочь в создании, изменении и обновлении инсталляций. Интерфейс всей программы немного необычен, но чрезвычайно эргономичен. Installer/GD предлагает стандартный набор возможностей: добавление компонентов и файлов, создание ярлыков, добавление диалоговых окон для лицензионного соглашения и файла readme, изменение реестра и INI-файлов. Также можно настроить всевозможные «украшательства» интерфейса и рисунки, отображаемые во время инсталляции. Есть неплохой редактор действий (actions), возникающих привыполнении определенной задачи. Каждой задаче можно назначить такие действия, как удаление, перемещение или копирование файла, запуск программы, удаление директорий или завершение установки. Особо следует отметить встроенный редактор строк, используя который, можно легко перевести инсталляцию на другой язык. Впрочем, в списке доступныхязыков имеется и русский.
